Girin was detained near the FSB headquarters at Lubyanka, where solitary protests were held in support of Ivan Safronov. Safronov, a former journalist from “Kommersant” and “Vedomosti”, has been arrested and charged with treason. Girin was released under condition that he returns to file an administrative protocol on rule violation of a public event.
