At a protest action in St. Petersburg, media workers wearing identifying vests were taken to the police vans. The journalists had their press cards and editorial assignments with them. SOTA journalist Nika Samusik was among those detained. In the evening, she was released from the St. Petersburg Police Department 78 with a pledge to appear on a report under Part 1 of Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. On April 12, the court dismissed the administrative case.
