On August 26, the poet Hovhannes Ghazaryan filed a lawsuit against Newspress.am website and journalist Armine Mkrtumyan, demanding a refutation of libel and payment of compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article published on the website on July 21 under the heading «It is immoral when a writer who helped his sons evade military service talks about patriotism: not every writer is a cultured person». Despite the fact that on August 20, at the demand of Hovhannes Ghazaryan Newspress.am published a refutation, the poet still filed a lawsuit against the website.
