Medisar LLC filed a lawsuit against the founder of the News.am news website News AM LLC in the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction, demanding compensation for damage caused to the business reputation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article, which states that as a result of the tender held by the state non-profit organization «Scientific-Practical Center of Forensic Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia», a сontract of AMD 295,800,000 was signed with Medisar LLC, which deals with import and supply of laboratory equipment and chemicals, and as a result of this transaction, Medisar LLC made a profit of at least AMD 111,000,000 (USD 212,237). The lawsuit is being considered.
