The Ministry of Information of Belarus blocked access to the regional news website Newgrodno.by. When trying to access the website from the territory of Belarus, users see a dummy page, which informs that access to the resource is restricted on the basis of the decision of the Ministry of Information, adopted in accordance with the Law on Mass Media. The official reason for the blocking is unknown. The media outlet was not recognised as extremist. However, the editor-in-chief Ihar Remzik was previously fined under the article on distribution of extremist materials.
