The Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, accused Netgazeti of “organising violence” in a post on his Facebook page. The accusation came after Netgazeti published information about a planned protest, where demonstrators intended to gather outside the Georgian Dream’s election headquarters. In response, Netgazeti said they view Papuashvili’s post as defamation and “another form of pressure on the media.”
