On April 9, the Batumi-based website Netgazeti.ge received an email from the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (Roskomnadzor) demanding that it remove its publication from March 16 titled «War in Ukraine: Kyiv reported the death of a fourth Russian general» within 24 hours of receiving the email. Since the letter was duplicated in English, Roskomnadzor understands that it is demanding censorship from a foreign media outlet. The editorial board did not remove the material.
