Parliament halted the accreditation of Nata Kajaia, a TV Pirveli journalist, for one month. The reason written in the halting notice was that the journalist asked an MP a question after the latest refused to answer. The name of the MP was not indicated, but later, TV Pirveli revealed that it was by the request of Peoples' Power MP Sozar Subari. Halting accreditation in such cases is part of the "parliament rule of conduct for journalists", which Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili issued more than a year ago and used to censor critical and opposition media in the parliament.
