The director of the company AiF and their lawyer came to the editorial office of Nasha Gazeta in connection with the article by Georgy Govorov «Fell into the pit — Why do the relatives of the deceased resident of Mayskoye village ask to acquit the defendant?» published on the website ng.kz on December 29, 2023. The director of the LLP believes that the article was written with an accusatory bias against him personally, despite the fact that it is the foreman of the LLP who is on trial. The company’s lawyer demanded to know the source who provided the author of the article with the indictment. The editor-in-chief did not agree with the accusations, saying that the article was based on facts heard in court, and that he could reveal the source of information only at the request of the court.
