On 20 December, the activities of Narek Kirakosyan, a correspondent for the news website Factor.am, were obstructed outside the main building of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. He was there to cover an event called “Lustration,” organised by art historian Karen Kyupelyan and the leader of the European Party of Armenia, Tigran Khzmalyan. During the event, one of the NSS officers approached the journalist and demanded that he stop filming, then grabbed Narek Kirakosyan by the arm in an attempt to prevent him from continuing his work. When he refused to comply, the officer withdrew.
