The Tbilisi City Court has fined journalist and TV host Nanuka Zhorzholiani GEL 5,000 (USD 1,750) for "blocking the road" (Фrticle 174 of the Code of Administrative Offences) on Rustaveli Avenue during the anti-government protest in Tbilisi on January 3. Following this, the court began issuing similar fines to others for the same offence. Zhorzholiani is the first journalist to receive such a fine.
