Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan arrested journalist Nailya Mullayeva for six days. She was found guilty of repeatedly violating the «rally» law (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). Mullayeva was also fined RUB 30,000 in a case of «discrediting» the army. Mullayeva was detained on December 1 when she left her apartment; she was held for a night in the detention center until the trial. The law enforcers conducted a search in the apartment of the journalist. At the time of investigative measures, Mullayeva was not in the apartment; only a relative of the journalist was there. The law enforcers confiscated Mullayeva’s internal passport and money. It became known later, that the search took place in a case of justification of terrorism. Her status is unknown.
