The Hlybokaye District Court fined Nadzeya Malinouskaya, the social media administrator of the online media outlet Volnaye Hlybokaye, 120 base amounts (BYN 4,440) and also ruled to confiscate her smartphone in favour of the state as the means by which the offence was committed. Judge Aliaksandr Aliakseyanka found Malinouskaya guilty of distributing extremist materials (Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and illegal picketing (Part 1 of Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). The woman was found guilty of reposting in the Instagram account of Volnaye Hlybokaye publications from the pages of the TV channel Belsat.
