The journalist was detained near the building of the detention centre, where she had come to give some things to her colleagues detained in the morning. She was accused of violating the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and was placed in the detention centre for three days until the trial. On October 6, the court found Puzhynskaya guilty based on the police report and arrested her for 14 days.
