The Basmanny District Court of Moscow sent 65-year-old journalist Nadezhda Kevorkova to pre-trial detention on the case of justification of terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The reason for the prosecution were her two posts in her Telegram channel, one of which was a republication of a text by Orkhan Dzhemal, a journalist killed in the Central African Republic. Kevorkova pleads not guilty.
