At 12 PM, Mustafa Hajibeyli, press secretary of the Musavat party and editor-in-chief of the Basta portal, was detained by police at his home and taken to the 5th Police Department of the Binagadi District of Baku. «Two men in civilian clothes, who were waiting for me at the entrance of an apartment building, said that the chief of police invited me and we should go to him», — said Hajibeyli. In the office of chief Javid Ismailzadeh, the participants of the meeting said hello. After that, Ismayilzadeh ordered the captain to take Hajibeyli back to his house. According to him, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service Elshad Hajiyev later called Hajibeyli and said that he had been detained by «mistake».
