National mining company «Tau-Ken Samruk» is suing economist Murat Temirkhanov for his analytical opinion piece. The mining company accused Temirkhanov in defamation. The reason behind this is an article titled “Tau-Ken Samruk”- a small copy of large problems of “Samruk-Kazyna” National Welfare fund”, published on Exclusive.kz website. In his article, Murat Temirkhanov analysed the consolidated financial statements and concluded that they are not entirely effective.
