On the night of October 4, popular blogger, stand-up performer and comedian Muhammed Mammedov was killed in Ashgabat. At about 2 AM, the 30-year-old man was returning home with a friend. In the neighbourhood where Muhammed lived, he was attacked by several people and badly beaten. The perpetrators then took the victim into his own flat and put him to bed. In the morning, his father and young son discovered his body.
