The National Regulatory Commission on Communications of Georgia fined TV channel «Mtavari Archi» 58,000 lari (US$25,220). The Commission noted that the reason is a video from 6-7 November and stated that the TV channel had no right to broadcast political advertisements during that period. However, there is no corresponding prohibition in the Electoral Code; therefore the fine was imposed according to the Law «On Television and Radio Broadcasting».
