The ruling party “Georgian Dream” has submitted a complaint to the National Communications Commission regarding the TV channel “Mtavari Archi”. The reason was the decision of the Mtavari Archi leadership, made on the eve of the second round of elections, according to which the TV channel refused free pre-election advertising and thereby used its constitutional right to protest against election fraud. For Georgian Dream, this protest became another reason for the application of new sanctions against critical media by its regulator Bekauri.
