The Telegram channel MotolkoHelp (“MotolkoPomogi”) was labelled as extremist by a court decision in the Partizansky district of Minsk. Reposting content from this channel can now lead to administrative liability and punishment, including time in prison. On 19 March, the Investigative Committee charged Anton Motolko on several counts as a defendant in a criminal case. The Investigative Committee noted that Motolko had “incited social hostility towards government officials and law enforcement officers since July 2020 via a Telegram channel he set up and managed.”
