Tashkent-based blogger Miraziz Bazarov was found guilty on all previously brought up charges (libel through the Internet out of base and selfish motives). He was sentenced to three years of restriction of liberty. Bazarov's time under house arrest will be taken into account. Lawyer Sergey Mayorov said the court ruling was «implementation of the will of the state». Lawyer Sergey Mayorov noted that the court banned the blogger from leaving the house between 8 PM and the morning, from using the Internet and working as a psychologist, thus depriving him of his only source of income and from attending public events and visiting cafes and restaurants.
