The Partizansky District Court of Minsk has designated a number of online resources belonging to the Belarusian music media project Ministerstvo Sepultury, created and run by journalist Aliaksandr Chernuho, as extremist information material. These include the YouTube channel Ministerstvo Sepultury,(youtube.com/@minsepultury), the Telegram channel Belarusian Music (t.me/charnuxa), and the Instagram account ministar_sepultury (instagram.com/ministar_sepultury?igsh=dm15YWrZ3E4bjJz). On the basis of the court’s ruling, the Ministry of Information of Belarus added these online resources to the “Republican List of Extremist Materials”. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and possession of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
