The police officers came to the apartment of Mikola Byanko’s wife’s parents. They asked questions about his work, asked about the journalist’s participation in the activities of the Belarusian Association of Journalists. Mikola Byanko was the head of the Homyel branch of BAJ. The policemen also called the journalist and demanded to name his whereabouts, although, according to Mikola, he was in the city and was not hiding.
