The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow fined investigative journalist Mikhail Rubin 40,000 rubles for failing to provide a report on the activities of a “foreign agent” (part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code). Mikhail Rubin was declared a “foreign agent" in 2021. This prompted him and his colleague Roman Badanin to leave Russia.
