Mikhail Danilovich was arrested when he held an individual picket next to the Federal Security Service Perm Krai department building. He was standing with a banner, «Journalism is not a crime. Free Safronov». Two men came out of the building and asked him to go inside. The journalist was taken to the police department, where a protocol was drawn up on him under Part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (violation of picketing rules). The case was closed. However, on the next day, a protocol was drawn up on Danilovich on the violation of the self-isolation regime (Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation).
