The grandson of former Gagauzian Speaker Dmitri Konstantinov - who was convicted and later fled justice - posted an insulting message on social media targeting journalist Mihail Sîrkeli and the media outlet Nokta. In the post, he accused independent media in Gagauzia of acting on political orders and claimed they were trying to portray his grandfather’s criminal case as politically motivated.
