The security service of Suleyman Demirel University in Kaskelen obstructed the work of the Radio Azattyq reporter Meyirim Bakhytzhan on the day of president Tokayev’s expected visit to SDU. First, university guards prevented the reporter from entering, then a man introducing himself as an employee of SDU forbade the reporter from standing on the bridge outside the university and forcibly dragged her down after a film crew began filming students leaving. The people who obstructed the work of the journalists showed their official ID of a «National Security Committee officer» and stated that they were doing it for the safety of the journalists.
