The online media outlet Meduza reported an unprecedented attack on its infrastructure by the Russian authorities. Concurrently with the murder of Alexey Navalny and a few weeks before the Russian presidential election, DDoS attacks on Meduza's website, mirror blocking, attempts to hack into the payment system for accepting donations, and phishing and spam attacks on personal accounts of Meduza employees intensified. Attackers also organise mass complaints about Meduza content on various platforms.
