The Basmanny District Court of Moscow fined Mediazona’s founder, ZP LLC, RUB 350,000. The reason for the fine was Mediazona’s request to the Judicial Department of the Supreme Court, dated July 19, 2023, without the «foreign agent» marking. After its receipt, the press service reported in a letter to Roskomnadzor that the editorial board had violated the requirements of Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (publication of materials without the «foreign agent» marking).
