On April 19, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the founder of the MediaHub.am news website (an LLC with the same name), demanding to refute the information considered as libel and pay compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the publication from April 13 «The Government had made an agreement with the company of Alen Simonyan’s brother for almost AMD 79 million without a tender». The lawsuit is being considered.
