Luninets District Court found the media guilty of distribution of information which is prohibited in mass media (Part 3-1 of Article 22.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and fined it 250 basic amounts. The reason for the trial was the article «Tsikhanouskaya's teacher: "She followed her husband like a Decembrist. She showed not only her character but also her love "». The article mistakenly stated that Inna Kukhareva taught Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, which in fact, is not valid. Another teacher said the words used in the quote in the title and text. In court, Kukhareva confirmed that the published information discredited her honour and dignity: the teacher said she didn't need someone else's fame.
