The law enforcers searched the editorial office of the independent regional website Media Polesye and a number of apartments of employees of the media outlet. As a result of the search, computer equipment and digital media were confiscated from the editorial office. On the same day, deputy head of the KGB investigation department Kanstantsin Bychek said on air of the state TV channel Belarus 1 about the «large-scale operation to clean up radicalised individuals». «Urgent investigative actions and other procedural actions are being carried out, including searches and detentions, which will verify the involvement of each participant in the commission of criminal acts», — he said.
