On October 26, 2020, the camera crew of the Crimea 24 TV channel (journalist Dmitry Popov and cameraman Maxim Savenkov) entered a private residence searching for the owner of the illegal construction in the nature reserve. A man attacked the camera crew and hit the journalist and cameraman several times, damaging the video camera. Then he caught up camera crew behind the private residence and started throwing stones at them.
