The police refused to open a criminal case for obstruction of journalists' professional activities because of the January attack on RBC correspondents Nikolay Fonakov and Matvey Bessonov, who were covering the fire at the Antipinsky Oil Refinery. At that time, a security guard at the plant pushed Fonakov away, took away his smartphone, and deleted video and photos from it. He returned the phone to the journalist only after the intervention of a traffic police officer. The photos and video were restored.
