The police and traffic police officers detained Maryna Drabysheuskaya along with her colleague Yauheny Merkis. They took her to the police department and drew a report on her for violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) — the journalist was covering the action and was marked with a vest with the inscription Press. She was sent to the temporary detention centre for a day until the trial. On September 15, the court found the journalist guilty and arrested her for 10 days.
