The 2nd Western District Military Court has sentenced DOXA journalist Maria Menshikova to seven years in prison in absentia on charges of justifying terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). She was also given a four-year ban on the administration of Internet resources. The reason for the criminal case were two anti-war posts in VKontakte in July 2022.
