Maria Melnikova, the correspondent of Radio Azattyq in the West Kazakhstan region, was not allowed to attend the session of the regional court where the appeal of the regional election commission to independent observers was heard. The observers won the court of the first instance to recognize violations of voting during the referendum. The journalist was not allowed into the session hall for a long time. Only after the observers made a fuss and demanded to invite the management, several secretaries came to the checkpoint, and then one of the bailiffs allowed Maria to pass.
