The Russian Ministry of Justice added blogger and musician Maria Chistyakova to the register of “foreign agents” with the standard wording: she allegedly spread fake news about the actions of the Russian authorities, fake news “aimed at creating a negative image” of the Russian army, and participated in the creation and distribution of “foreign agent” content. Chistyakova has been living in exile since 2022. In Russia, a criminal case has been opened against her for insulting the feelings of believers.
