A statement relating to article 20.33 of the Administrative Code, forbidding participation in an “undesirable organization” was referred to the Moscow Timiryazevsky District Court, regarding journalist Margarita Lyutova. On 5 November 2024, the Timiryazevsky District Court of Moscow fined the journalist five thousand rubles in absentia. The reason was her participation on November 2023 in Aleksandr Plyushchev's YouTube channel with a reference to the "Meduza" online news outlet, which was declared an "undesirable organisation" in January 2023.
