On March 18, the police sent a letter to the editors of the newspaper “Hraparak”, demanding to delete the information about cigarette shortages in prisons from the Hraparak.am website. According to the publication, a revolt is brewing among convicts over the ban on receiving parcels due to the state of emergency. Similar notices were sent to Mamul.am and Iravunk.am, who had republished the article. They removed mentions of the state of emergency.
