On June 23, six doctors from the Yerevan Medical Center "Nork-Marash" filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against LLC "Social Media," demanding a public retraction, compensation of 3 million drams (over $7,500) for defamation, and coverage of state fees. The basis for the lawsuit is a series of video materials and false information regularly published since May 30 of this year on the news website "Mamul.am." These materials allegedly accused the doctors of unprofessional conduct, inhumane treatment, and various oversights, which are claimed to have led to the deaths of patients. The case is currently under review.
