On June 17, the closed joint-stock company "Nork-Marash Medical Center" filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against LLC "Social Media," demanding a retraction of information it considers defamatory, compensation of 6 million drams (over $15,000), and a state duty of 200,000 drams (over $500). The lawsuit was prompted by a May 26 article published on the company's news website "Mamul.am" titled "'The same staff took my mother away from me': Public reacts to doctors involved in tragic incident." The case is currently under review.
