On May 11, Malkhaz Rekhviashvili, the host of Adjara Public Broadcaster, was dismissed: the reason was his post in his personal account in which he supported his dismissed colleague Teona Turmanidze. The letter of Giorgi Kokhreidze, general director of the TV channel, says that the post of the journalist of April 21 «was libellous, discredited the broadcaster, and tarnished the reputation of the TV channel». The journalist said he was going to complain against the general director's order to the court and to the prosecutor's office as the labour contract was violated. Malkhaz Rekhviashvili is also the chairman of the channel's labour union.
