The police detained the journalist during the dispersal of a street protest. He was taken to the police department. He was drawn up a report for violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in the detention centre for two days until the trial. On September 21, the court found the journalist guilty of participating in a street protest and arrested him for 15 days.
