Independent journalist and blogger Makhambet Abzhan was summoned to the district prosecutor’s office in connection with a survey on the Abzhan News Telegram channel. In a survey conducted in November, the blogger asked the question - «Which political party would you vote for if there were no falsifications?». The Office of the Public Prosecutor showed the blogger an article of the Electoral Law which states that only legal entities with five years of experience in polling and approved by the Central Electoral Commission can conduct polls on the subject of elections.
