Makhambet Abzhan, the journalist and owner of the Telegram channel ABZHAN NEWS, said his channel had been hacked for the third time in a week. The journalist attributed the hackers’ activity to his civic position and his criticism of government agencies and specific officials. Abzhan said he did not know who became interested in his channel. The Telegram channel ABZHAN NEWS is an official media outlet in Kazakhstan and is registered under the Ministry of Information and Social Development.
