The employees of the National Centre for the Prevention of Torture recored beating and ill-treatment of the journalist imprisoned in the pre-trial detention centre. Earlier, Bolot Temirov, founder of TemirovLive, reported in social networks that Makhabat Tazhibek kyzy, a journalist and his wife, had been beaten by an employee of the detention centre. Representatives of the National Centre for the Prevention of Torture visited the detention centre, documented the traces of ill-treatment of the journalist, and accepted her complaint. According to human rights activists, all materials will be sent to the prosecutor’s office for legal assessment.
