Journalist Kunduz Zholdubayeva was summoned to the Pervomaysky District Court of Bishkek, where she will be hearing an administrative suit on charges of hooliganism. Along with her, Makhabat Tazhibek kyzy, project manager of the YouTube project Ayt Ayt Dese of the investigative centre Temirov Live, was also summoned to the court. Earlier, on November 17, 2023, Nadira Narmatova, a member of the parliament, wrote a complaint to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with a request to «take measures» against the two journalists. After interrogations in December 2023, the investigator imposed administrative punishment on the journalists. According to the lawyer Nurbek Sydykov, the report on administrative punishment is unjustified and illegal.
