On June 23, Nodar Meladze, chief producer of the Pirveli TV channel, was summoned for interrogation by the State Security Service of Georgia in connection with the Giorgi Gabunia case. Nodar Meladze explained that the State Security Service was interested in the journalistic investigation released on June 19. Maka Chikhladze, the author of the piece, was summoned for questioning along with Nodar Meladze. Meladze explained that the suspect's brother in the attempted murder of Vasambe Bokov stated that he did not recognize him in the video distributed by the State Security Service.
